Let's Get This Week Going!

Today’s Numbers: Nancy's Days Run: 87 Nancy's 2014 Mileage: 407.8 Elly's 2014 Mileage: 185.4 Money Found For Food Bank: $32.01

Happy Monday!! As much as was crammed into mine, and as much as that made my eyes bleary, I simply decided that Monday was happy anyway! And, how could it not be when it started off like this?!

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeee !!!"

Elly and I had limited time this morning because she had an appointment for her yearly check up (she is happy in the picture because she didn't yet know that bit of news). It was a shame we were limited because it was only 70 degrees -- almost perfect for a pooch! It was a great outing, though. We covered three quick miles and scored 39 cents sending the Food Bank total over the $32 mark! Sweet!!!!

 

That run was way more fun for Elly than was her next outing. She is good about going to the doctor demonstrating only a passive resistance to getting in the door. But, her anxiety seemed to go up while we waited for an unusual 20 minutes in the littlebittyroom. I opened the door so it wouldn't feel so cramped, and Elly made no mistake letting me know the direction she preferred to go:

"He's late, mommy, so let's bust a move. That-a way!!"

She earned a clean bill of health (which took a third less time than we had to wait, but whatev!), and we were on our way, but, not before the doctor specifically commented on her shiny bandana!! She is quite smashing in it, isn't she?!
