Scenes From the Fourth

So, Elly didn't get to go out yesterday, so she took Pit Crew #2 for a walk today. The girl knows how to get what she wants!

I hope your post-Fourth day has been a great one! Mine started by sleeping in as our day was full from beginning to end, and the end was much later than all years past!! Here are some scenes:

The annual rainbow Jell-O was created ... mmm ...

The boys treated themselves to Double
Oatmeal Cream Pies to accompany their
gaming time ...

... while Elly just loved on her treat before eventually deciding
to take it down!

We girls treated ourselves to some crafting!! Yeah!!!

For later treat ... how could I pass these up to use at dinner?!

Of course, the pool was on the agenda for the Fourth! It was
on the agenda for many even though we've not before seen nor
will we likely see many of them this pool season! The day
just calls for a dip, doesn't it?!

Back home, the house was spruced up in a few new ways!
PC#2 made a paper flower bouquet for us ...

... while Aaron added his decorative touch!

We shoot fireworks with our neighbors
every year, and we can always count on
them for the novelty fireworks ...

... and, the HoHos!

I used to have so much fun chasing and catching parachutes
with my brother ... fun to watch the repeat!!

PC#3 found refuge behind the chairs for
some of the bigger shots after a very
unfortunate misfire a few minutes before!

I think I took the misfire for the team, but I have all of my
digits and had only a temporary spell of diminished hearing.
We're all good now!

Another higgly-piggly, not-exactly-sure-how-to-manage-it-but-will-because-that's-what-you-do weeks is on the books!! It'll start with an outing in the morning to get things going the right direction! Have a strong start to your week, and I'll check in after the morning run!
